Very Effective for Expanding Data Transfer Capabilities

Very functional data hub, with fast 3.2 USB-A and USB-C ports. It came with a nice touch - a black carrying case. Whether for the hub, or for some small device, screws, or whatever there is always a great use for this. An unexpected adder.

Data Only, But Handy

This doesn't charge, but the data only is fine for my needs. It's compact and easily fits into a backpack or purse. I recommend having one to help free up some more ports on your laptop

Not too much, just what I need!

This four port hub is great for my MacBook! It's small, so it's portable! It only has four ports - two USB-A and two USB-C - which is all I might need when I'm on the go! Very nice, easy to carry, and works as it should!

Nice little fast hub

This is a nice little fast hub. it has a solid feel to the construction and I what appears to be a good quality cable. On my test, as you can see with my screen shot, it got over 900Mb a second access a 2TB Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD. this is probably the limitation of the drive and not the hub. I would like to test with a Extreme II but I don't have one.My only grip is the cable is a little short. I have my laptop on a stand so it dangles when plugged in at home. On the road, this would be fine.

Allows you to connect multiple USB-C and USB-A devices to Android phones

This hub has 2 USB type A and 2 USB type C ports. This allows you to connect multiple devices (keyboards, mice, storage, etc) to an Android phone or a modern USB-C laptop.Build quality is good, it's made of metal and feels solid. When you connect this to a modern Android phone that supports power sharing, the phone will show a notification that it's "charging" the connected device (even if nothing is plugged into the hub). This is normal and expected, but might seem a bit strange since you aren't actually charging anything.Note that this does NOT support charging even though you can physically plug a USB-C charger into one of the USB-C ports and does NOT support alt modes like HDMI/DisplayPort so you cannot connect a USB-C video device to the hub. This is not a flaw, just make sure you know what you are buying.

This works OK

all the ports work fine on this device. I would have liked to see a bit longer cord on it to make it easier to arrange on my desk. Unfortunately it will not pass through power from my charger to the laptop. It will provide power to connected devices, just not power into the laptop. I have an older Dell XPS with only 1 USB-C port so this is helpful. I have it plugged into a dock which provides power but also have a regular power port. When using this adapter, i need to use the regular adapter because no power goes in.

Connection troubles and 5g speeds

Was very excited about this small hub with 2 USB C and 2 USB A ports all rated at 10Gb/s. However, I had connection issues on my 10Gig port as well as my Thunderbolt 3 ports. In order to benchmark hubs and components, I use various external drives rated at 40Gb/s and appropriate cables. My external drives did not work at all using this hub on my TB3 ports. They did not even power on. As a matter of fact, I had to reboot my system several times in order to get the TB3 ports to work after installing this hub on them. When I was able to get my external drive connected through this hub on my 10Gb/s port and do testing. Which I do 2 different methods. one real world with file transfer and the other using bench marking software. Both tests resulted in a top speed of about 400 MByte/s which is 3.8 Gbit/s or equivalent to what you would get out of a USB 3.0 port or 5 Gbit/s port. Based on my speed testing and connection issues with the hub, I cant recommend.

2 major drawbacks

The only 2 issues are you can’t run an external monitor through the USB C ports and you can’t charge the laptop through those ports either. This one does have the higher speed USB C ports at 10GB/s compared to others on the market. Good for external data transfer.

Makes PowerPoint sharing at conferences easy!

I bought this before attending a conference where we exchange a lot of presentations, reports, and journal articles. This made it so easy to transfer the data when we didn’t have internet access.

works well

If you have a newer macbook, you need this thing there are no usb ports on it. This expands the capacity of your computer and what you can plug into it. Very handy to have

Very Fast USB C 3.2 Gen 2 Hub

I got this because it is the highest specification USB-C hub that I've seen so far.In other words, it's 100% USB 3.2 with no USB 2.0 ports that I don't need. The price is right too at 25 bucks.Very Fast USB C 3.2 Gen 2 Hub.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

High-speed USB-C hub

The UPTab portable hub is an outstanding product that delivers high-quality performance and lightning-fast transfer speeds. It is designed specifically for data transfers ONLY and doesn't support charging or video output. I have used it to transfer files between two external SSD drives, and the transfer rates were exceptional. Plus, it comes with a convenient carrying pouch that makes it easy to take on the go. However, it's worth noting that if you connect devices with combined power requirements exceeding the HOST USB-C port's capacity, the hub will reboot. Overall, this portable hub from UPTab is a fantastic product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient way to transfer data and expand their port count.

Perfect Size USB Only Hub, Could be a Bit Thinner

This 2 Port USB-A and 2 Port USB-C hub is perfect anyone who needs a few extra ports on their laptop or even on their phone. I have had no issues with this product and the speeds seem to be as rated. The product also came with a neat little bag to help protect it in one's backpack. While I do like how small it is, my one complaint would be that it could be a bit thinner in comparison to other USB hubs. Overall though, I would still highly recommend this hub.

Well made 4 port USB hub in an aluminum enclosure

The Uptab 4-port USB hub is made in PRC (China). The hub has 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A high speed ports. My only issue is that anything connected via the hub has to be low power. There is not enough power to handle more than one moderate power hungry device alone. As a compact USB hub, this works well as long as you stay in the limitations. This hub is identical in every way I can find to the Siig hub in ASIN B0846277J5.4 stars

SD cards aren't as bad at dropping

Bought two of these for two different computers that have 3.1 Gen 2 specs. Both units drop connection randomly of any attached peripherals plugged into it. SD cards aren't as bad at dropping.

Perfect for my new laptop, which doesn't have a standard USB port.

I like the little bit of cord. That allows you to get more things plugged in to your device, when the ports are so close together.

Connectivity Problems - NOT RELIABLE

I've had this unit for quite some time now, and I would not buy another one, that is for sure. In fact, I will replace this one. Constant connectivity problems, and I use items that should have the least of these - 2 thumb drives and a keyboard in particular, but other external devices do the same thing. All items plugged into this unit are likely to go offline at any time. They may be reliably connected for days, and suddenly they're gone. And these items will go offline independently of one another, so it's not the entire unit simply "going down". I try to keep the thumb drives online at all times. I'm reduced to 1 thumbdrive and a keyboard right now - the least needed thumb drive, and I'm always prepared to plug the keyboard in elsewhere. Anyone else have these problems after extended use?

10Gbps, not 5Gbps like most of the others

I was attracted to this hub because I wanted to share a type-C port. This is one of the few, certainly the lowest price, hubs that I could find which worked at 10Gbps for all 4 of the ports.I don't have an easy way to check the bandwidth, but I did test various features (like DP) and it worked great.

Great hub! With it, my 3.1 gen 2 devices are reaching their full potential.

With this hub plugged into a 3.1 gen 2 USB port on my PC, I get great speeds! Even when I simultaneously send and receive data to another gen 2 drive connected to a different port on this hub. The transfer speeds were a just a bit slower of course. But they are still noticeably faster than 3.0/3.1 drives due to their hardware limitations. I wish the cord was longer though.
