This hub is just what you need to mutitask with you mobile systems, it’s great.

This hub is super handy for my iPad pro to extend capabilities and connectivity. It was very easy to plug in and is solid in quality. Some hubs I've purchased feel cheap and light but this one is a bit more heavy. Multiple connections make this an asset as you're changing devices and accessories and I had no trouble with connectivity after inserting various accessories. Great item to extend capabilities as you use iPad pro!

The audio part never worked when connected to the tablet.

I grabbed this so I could convert any USB-C device (in particular my Surface Pro) into an HDMI port. Works great.

I could have purchased Apple's expensive camera adapter but fortunately came across this first. It lets me charge my iPad Pro while using the regular style USB connector to a MIDI controller. I don't use the video out but the fact that this was plug and play and lets me do what I want is a good thing!

Upsides of this device: it's surprisingly small, and given the fact that laptops/notebook devices are getting thinner, usually with one USB-C port, users will need an adapter that can run peripheral devices, a multiplier, as it were. One USB-C plug gives you, on this adapter, an HDMI (video) output, a USB-3, another USB-C and digital audio.The downside is that, instead of a pigtail type plug in, the designers have the male USB-C solidly on the adapter. This can be a problem: I have a typical Dell laptop with several outputs along one side of the device. This adapter blocks the AC power socket, as well as a USB and audio port, so it makes this adapter a bit problematic. The adapter might have been less problematic if the USB-C plug-in well to one side or the other, or on one end or the other. Still, this adapter can fill a need if the user can find a device that can accommodate this quirk.

now that the ipad pro 2018 and on has a USB c port, sometimes you want to attach other devices or need more ports, this helps address this issue without adding too much bulk. great to have more options for devices and for making this more like a laptop--although I do not have the new magic keyboard so not sure if it would fit very well with that.
